Welcome to Incept Adventure Co.

New for 2014 Incept will now be offering year round training programs for First Aid & CPR as well as Wilderness First Aid & CPR. Starting May 15, 2014 we are looking forward to serving all our clients on the river again. Things are shaping up nicely and we have some exciting new features and programs we will be providing to heighten everyone’s experience. One of these announcements is that we are now a training partner for the Canadian Red Cross and as of January 1, 2014 we now offer First Aid and Wilderness First Aid courses. Included in this new partnership allows us to also sell any Red Cross merchandise. Please check back often for updates, as always your comments are always welcomed, drop us a line and tell us what you think of the new site as it comes along!

We are nestled in the corner of beautiful South West Alberta & servicing the Waterton Lakes National park & Glacier National park area,  Incept Adventure Co. is a fresh, vibrant and energetic outdoor pursuits company. (We have recently dropped the “Guiding & Outfitting” from our name and added the “Adventure Co.” to more accurately describe the nature of our business.) Born from an intense deep rooted passion ignited from working for nearly a decade with Kimball River Sports, Incept was launched to continue to provide our clients with exceptional service and feed our addiction to the outdoor tourism industry after Kimball River Sports closing. We strive to provide all of our clients with a safe professional and fun setting and atmosphere which will allow our clients whether beginners or seasoned professionals to participate in a enjoyable and memorable experience. Our rafting takes place on the comfortable and exciting St. Mary’s river. Originating out of Glacier National park the St. Mary’s surges North into Canada where it resides as one of the few rivers which remain in Canada that have originated in the USA. Flowing over a gravel bottom our intense sun gives ample time to warm the water to a very comfortable temperature.

For those with a little more daring side in them we offer an option for our clients to try floating through a rapid named Double Trouble in their life jackets. Our guides have training in first aid at advanced levels, swift water rescue training and years of experience.  Imagine the thrill of spotting Grizzly bears, Whitetail & Mule deer, the endangered Golden Marmot, Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles and more which are regularly found here. As our river flows are dependent on the snow pack and rainfall our water levels do vary with the time of year. Our big water is found in June and the first part of July after which it starts to mellow out for the rest of the summer. This latter part of the season makes for some great water fights and river games. Water dependent in the fall we will be offering wildlife and scenery floats. This is a perfect time to see the fall colors start to come out and watch the animals getting ready for winter. Magnificent colors and plants abound. Please inquire for the availability of these trips. Different locations may be possible however fees may vary for the location. Come experience the breathtaking scenery and thrills that we offer you this season.
